Welcome baking lovers after a long break 😊 During hot weather, we don’t always feel like having big baked goods. That’s why a great alternative is waffles! Delicious, incredibly fragrant, quick to prepare.

To make the dough, prepare:

  • 0.5 kg of powder
  • 0.5 liter of potable water
  • 125ml of vegetable oil

How to prepare waffles:

  • Pour the powder into a suitable vessel.
  • Add water and oil.
  • Mix for a few minutes until a smooth consistency is obtained.
  • Pour the batter onto a waffle iron preheated to 220-230 degrees. Bake for about 4-5
    minutes until golden.

Good advice:

  • Lubricate the waffle iron with a small amount of grease.
  • Subsequent greasing should be done every few baking cycles, depending on the waffle
    iron and the oil content of the prepared batter.
  • Dispense batter into a waffle iron that has reached the set temperature.
  • Immediately after baking, the waffles can be placed on a special tray/stand for
    evaporation (away from sources of steam).
  • Do not stack the baked waffles on top of each other.
  • A preheated waffle iron without batter inside should always be closed.
  • After a waffle sticks to the waffle iron, the waffle iron should be turned off and cleaned thoroughly.
  • The waffle iron should be cleaned if there is a burnt layer of grease.

The waffle iron must be really well heated and it is a good idea to grease it lightly with oil
before pouring the batter. About 10 waffles come out of a 0.5 kg package. The biggest
advantage of self-preparation is the freedom to choose the ingredients: powdered sugar,
whipped cream, fruit, chocolate… Whatever your heart desires.😊
